Indonesia Clearing House (ICH) has officially received government approval to serve as a Warehouse Receipt Registration Center. This approval is contained in the Registration Center Approval Certificate No. 33/BAPPEBTI/KepSRG/SP/PUSREG/10/2025, issued by the Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency on October 27, 2025.
As a Warehouse Receipt Registration Center, ICH will perform roles including recording, storage, ownership transfer, collateral rights enforcement, reporting, and provision of Warehouse Receipt information systems and networks.
Regarding the Warehouse Receipt System, in accordance with the Minister of Trade Regulation (Permendag) No.1/2025 concerning Goods and Requirements for Goods that can be Stored in the Warehouse Receipt System, there are currently 27 commodities included in the Warehouse Receipt ecosystem, namely: Unhulled Rice, Rice, Corn, Coffee, Cocoa, Pepper, Rubber, Seaweed, Rattan, Salt, Gambier, Tea, Copra, Tin, Shallots, Fish, Nutmeg, Frozen Chicken Carcass, White Crystal Sugar, Soybeans, Tobacco, Cinnamon, Agar, Carrageenan, Mocaf, Areca Nut, and Tapioca.
ICH Director Yugieandy Tirta Saputra said, "The appointment given by the government to ICH as a Warehouse Receipt Registration Center is certainly a great trust from the government that we will carry out as well as possible. In addition, by serving as a Warehouse Receipt Registration Center, this is also a strategic corporate step to continue innovation, especially in terms of national commodity trading."
